CAN you handle the heat? Iceland has started selling a burger made with the world's strongest chilli.

The frozen food shop claims it is the UK's hottest supermarket burger.

The burger contains a chilli that's 200 times hotter than a jalapeno

It contains carolina reaper peppers which are 200 times hotter than a jalapeno.

The beef burgers cost £2.50 for a pack of four.

It's part of Iceland's hot food range which includes chilli chicken wings, chicken breast fillet strips and chicken chunks.

In fact, the wings are so hot that they come with a safety warning to wear gloves while you eat them.

The carolina reaper pepper was first created in 2013 and gained an instant reputation around the globe for its blazing heat of up to 2.2 million scoville units.

The burgers sold in Iceland are great value. When we checked elsewhere found Tesco selling four beef burgers with scotch bonnet for £3.

While Sainsbury's sells two spicy burgers for £2.50.

Remember to check prices before you hit the shops.
